Last week a few people asked was it really for holding eggs or would i use it for something else.

Whats on your work desk wednesday , if you've know idea what i'm on about hop over to Julia's to find out more & join in the fun,
At the back of my desk is the egg holder i was working on a while back , which has made it back on my desk . I've finally given it a coat of acrylic paint . My aim is to get it finished by the weekend.
While i was waiting for this to dry i made a front & back over for a mini coaster album i've been working on with two crafting friends.
The qoute on the front says " make every day your master piece".

Aren't they great, i so llok forward to seeing the firends & setting a challenge like this because it gets the little grey cells working.
Sue's one is the one on the left , mine is the on the right , & Sheila's is the one at the bottom.

The teapots i picked up from a charity shop for £1 each . I got two because one is for myself, to put on the worktop in the kitchen at christmas & the other one will be donated to a local school for a christmas fete.
My little grandson came round for the afternoon yesterday so i could'nt finished the last one off , so i put it on my desk & ready for today to sew on the last bits.

My second christmas tag is now finished .
I've used Dylusions spray inks , Vibrant turquoise , Bubble gum pink, & lemon zest.
Through a crafters workshop stencil called mixed blooms i used bright green acrylic paint.
i then stamp my boarder using Dylusions further around the edge stamps in Rangers archival Vermillion ink and then coloured the boarders with my gold Posca pen .
The stamped imaged is a stampotque stamp which a friend stamped for me & i coloured him using whisper pens.
I was sure on this stamp but now i've done used him with the words i'm feeling quite sorry for him .
The words are from i stamp that was sent to me in a swap last year & it's the first time i've used it.

Two atc's from me today made from some coloured & stamped atc size pieces of cards which i'd kept ready to make so atc's but never got round to doing .
The left one i coloured using Dylusions spray inks then stamped over the top using a B-line stamp.
The skeletons parts have been cut using a memory box die & the large skull i can't remember where i found that but it's one of those things i kept because i liked it & thought i'd use that one day .
Mr super cool Giraffe was something i cut out from a magazine along with the words , something else i kept because i like it, now i think i've finally put these pieces that i'd been keeping to good use this morning.

Here we are again another Wednesday has rolled around so it's time again to show what we have on our work desks, & the latest things we are all working on. If your new & don't know what it's all about hope over to Julia's place to join in the fun, http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/
I'm making a couple of tags just for fun, messing about trying different things.
I started my tag with given them each a good coat of Gesso then placed then together , & then peeling then apart which gives a lovely textured back ground.
I saw this technique in last months craft stamper mag & wanted to try it.
I then added Rangers Perfect Pearls , (Green patina & perfect gold) while the gesso was still wet . once dried i sprites the tags with a little water & dired the tags with my heat gun.
The tag on the right as you can see has had Distress in Fired Brick & Forest Green added. Its a pity your can't see the wonderful shine coming through the inks from the perfect pearl.
Not sure at this moment what else i'm going to add to complete my tags ,but i'm sure i'll come up with something.
